Frida’s journey into fashion and dressmaking began at thirteen. She lived with a family member who was an accomplished dressmaker and became her first teacher, introducing her to the discipline of cutting, construction and creating beautiful clothes by hand.

Frida went on to work with a number of fashion brands in Italy and London, developing the skill and instinct that now define her work. Her greatest joy has always been creating pieces that make women feel special—combining colour, texture and unexpected details to make every garment feel luxurious and full of life.

Majlinda’s connection to fashion began before she was born. She often says that she has heard the rhythm of a sewing machine since she was in her mother’s womb. She grew up surrounded by fabrics, colour and the constant sight of Frida transforming an idea into something beautiful. Over the years, Majlinda became her mother’s model, her mannequin and, eventually, her creative partner.

Frida London brings their two perspectives together: Frida’s lifetime of craftsmanship and fearless love of colour, with Majlinda’s belief that modesty should never mean sacrificing beauty, individuality or luxury.

Together, Frida and Majlinda create flowing, feminine pieces for women who want to feel comfortable, confident and beautifully dressed. Each design carries Frida’s hands, their shared vision and a little of the story that began at her sewing machine.
